Family Photos

Back in November, just three weeks from our anniversary of our Forever Family Day in India, we hired a photographer to take some photos to commemorate the year.  It was a sweltering 90 degree Fall evening in Oklahoma when we met up with the photographer. We were a hot, swetty, mess!

Here are a few of our favorites…(Roxie is in the pink dress, and Simone is in the mint-green dress.)

You can't see their faces much in the picture, but just look at those little hands. That sums up our first year together. Without each other, they just wouldn't be the same precious peanuts!...

Christmas Pictures

I know I'm late on getting the Christmas pictures posted, better late than never!

A trip to see Santa after school was a success. Jude asked for a Batman watch, Woody and Buzz action figures from Toy Story, and the girls each asked for a doll. They were all so brave! (Roxie left, Simone right.)

We celebrated our little family Christmas early since we would be out of town on our Christmas morning...

November and December Pictures

Okay, so I have a whole-lotta of catching up to do on the blog! I've got to get our 2014 posts printed into our blog book and I'm realizing just how much I let November and December slip by without updates. It's been busy around here!

So here's a big line up of random pictures from our November and December:

Our first snow in our new house...

Some nice spurts of warm temperatures in the middle of our winter...

Jude's Pre-K Christmas program at school. His favorite song being "All I Want For Christmas Is a Hippopotamus"….

I took Simone on a little date to the grocery store. She wore her Cinderella shoes and insisted on walking the entire store. It took us for-EVER to get our errands done, but we had tons of fun! And she helped carry the bag of bread to the car for me. We moved sooo slowly, but oh so pretty...

On Jude's last day of school, just before Christmas break, he came down with the flu. This is us waiting for the doc and our Tamiflu prescriptions...

In November, we celebrated our Forever Family Day with a visit from Grandma Valerie and Grandpa Spencer and some big bowls of ice cream!… (Roxie)

(Simone)...

On a warm afternoon we attempted a bit of raking, or um jumping in the leaves...

We made an appearance at Bass Pro for some free pictures with Santa, and alas the wait was 3 hours. So we meandered thru the store playing with the games and looking at the fish and animals...

Picking up Jude from school, in our princess dresses from Aunt Brooke… (Simone left, Roxie right.)

Playing a game of hit the tree trunk with sticks while Roxie watches the traffic...

Our little monkey…
