Pumpkin Pickin'

We spent the day driving through the Hudson River Valley breathing in the fresh air, soaking in the beautiful views, and traipsing through apple orchards and pumpkin patches. Have I mentioned Fall is my favorite season? I just wanna be outside every single minute!

Did you know some people like to ride pumpkins? Yep.

This city kids loves grass. He kept asking, "Mommy, want to run together in the grass?" "Daddy want to run together in the grass?"

A perfect Fall day, minus our little princesses.

We spent another gorgeous Fall day outside. We thought we'd stretch our legs and smell some salty air again.

Jude had a blast splashing in the water. We expected it to be freezing out by the water, but we were surprisingly not cold.
And even tho the water was freezing, Jude was soaked from head to toe by the time we left.

Pops and Grammy are in town lovin' on Jude and spoiling him rotten.

We spent a beautiful Fall day at Coney Island enjoying the views and the kiddie rides.

Jude was so brave on this ride. He wasn't tall enough to ride, but snuck past anyway and held on tight! The first time it fell down, he looked a bit tentative, and then the rest of the ride he was all smiles and even started to let go, hands-free each time it dropped.

He loved it so much he rode it twice!

Jude walked thru a kiddie corn maze and picked a pumpkin.
Pops and Jude painted a very scary pumpkin face!

Court Approvals!

Yes! We were told today that we have all our court approvals. That means it is DONE! We officially, officially, officially, are the parents of two beeeautiful little Indian princesses. OUR little princesses.

I got off the phone with our caseworker this morning light-headed, dizzy, and full of tears, just so thankful. All I could muster over and over again was thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, a million times to our sweet Jesus.

So now:
Our orphanage director applies for their passports. (They can't get to the U.S. without passports!) The orphanage director predicted the passport process should take 2 weeks. Once the passports are in her hands, we'll jump on a plane!! We are so close now!!
